Certification: Open Water; soon to be Advanced & Nitrox Certified
E-mail: RSOhana8@aol.com

My husband and I and our two older boys, ages 11 and 13, became certified in July of 2007. Since that time we have done 39 dives across the U.S. -- in only 9 months! We LOVE to dive but I too have come across men who want to do "guys only" dive trips or think that women can't keep up with the men. We ARE different, as you clearly state, but I can tell you that I am the safest diver in my group. I'm conservative and aware whereas my husband takes too many chances, in my mind. So I appreciate your balanced approach -- not that one is better than the other but we're different and we need to take that into consideration. Thank you for a great website.

I'm looking for weekend (and, sometime, weekday) diving in the Central NY area. I'm getting to know the Central New York diving spots-- learning about wreck diving and cooler water diving. At the same time, I love warm water diving everywhere and anywhere. I've been diving since 1996 -- although I'm just getting back into it, on a pretty serious basis, after a 5 yr hiatus. Just bought my own gear! I'm PADI certified (Advanced), completing wreck diving and NITROX classes now, and will be starting a Rescue Class next week. Best diving: Andaman Islands, off the east coast of India.

I got certified January 2005. Since then I have advanced to Rescue Diver. I love warm water diving and have been to Belize and Cozumel, Roatan and the Fla. keys. I am in my mid-fifties, and want to keep diving for the rest of my life. I have 65 dives and want to keep improving and taking the occasional trip outside of the US, when my time and budget allow. I'm planning to return to Cozumel this February.... If you're interested in contacting me about possibly becoming buddies for such a trip, that would be great. If you live in the NY-NJ-Long Island-Conn. area, I'd love to meet up to chat and see if we could become compatible, responsible buddies.... and fellow travelers.

I am 45, single. I got certified when I was 14 yrs old, but there was about a 20 year lapse of no diving (raising my son). I live in Colorado, but originally from Tennessee. Out of all of the diving I have done, Cozumel is my favorite. It gets a little crowded sometimes, but it's worth it. I would love to have someone to go with or meet there. I have been traveling with "Apple Vacations" - it's a nonstop flight from Denver to Cozumel for less than $200 usually and I have a friend with a Condo down there so it's cheap.

I'm 51 years old and got my OW 8/19/01 with my son. I fell in love with Scuba immediately; my son didn't :( so I am always looking for travel and dive buddies. It stretches my dive budget to share the hotel rooms :). Although I dive mostly the Florida panhandle and Key Largo, my last dives were Cancun and Belize... from a cruise ship. Drift diving the walls was GREAT, but next time I'll fly, lol. I would LOVE to find other women to travel and dive with. I dive wrecks and reefs. My passion is UW photography. My husband and I have a deal... I don't hunt with him and he doesn't Scuba or skydive with me.

I started as a 15yr old girl in 1978 and now have over 2000 dives. For me diving is "the never ending story"! Even after all these years of diving in the Blaarmeersen, Nekkers and several other places in Belgium, the Oosterschelde in the Netherlands, the Red Sea in Egypt and several other interesting seas in Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, Tunis, Italy, ... it stays incredible interesting and exciting. There still are many secrets under water, many things to discover and ... I just love it. Interested in some info? Just send me a mail !!

Hi! I am 34 and have been certified since 92 and have 100+ logged dives. Basically money has been the only factor that has kept me from diving more! I have recently moved to the Philippines and want to do a lot of diving around this country. However, it has also been (one of) my dream(s) to dive Palau. So I am looking for info (& possibly a buddy) to go there this dec/jan (i teach, so i have 3 weeks off). I have had this idea in mind: spend 2 weeks diving, hiking, kayaking and exploring Palau--on the cheap, however possible that is--then 1 pampered week at a resort, or even a liveaboard, which I have never done. I am also really into underwater photography. I'd love to hear from anyone out there....! Thanks!

I'm a fairly experienced diver (200+ dives). Will dive almost anywhere with warm water and at least 15 feet of visibility.
I'm also a widow with a 3 year old, and very interested in finding travel companions who also have children, preferably of similar age.
The kids have someone to play with; the adults can take turns diving and babysitting. I hate leaving my son at home.

I have been diving for 15 years and I am 31 yrs old. I am also a TDI extended range diver (180 feet; about 60 meters roughly). Most of my diving has been locally in glacier fed lakes. I also dive the West Coast of Canada. The diving here is some of the best in the world!!! Most people dive in drysuits here. When you do your o/w dives you usually use a 7mm wetsuit. If you are frustrated after your 4 open water dives get back in the water again for dive # five. I guarentee you'll change your mind!! If any one is in my area give me an email.
